It works great with my iPad camera but when I use the camera in the iMovie app or Smoovie app it won’t work. I got it for my students for claymation.

Only used it a few times. Went to attach to a new phone today and blue led will not come on. Checked battery and it was at 3.17 VDC so that does not appear to be the problem. Can't get it to turn on. Phone sees no Bluetooth devices. No place here to get troubleshooting assistance.

I’ve only had this remote for about three months, and recently I took it out to use it and it doesn’t turn on at all.. I don’t what went wrong. I hope I can get some answers, because the product is actually realiable..

So far it does what it says it does! I have an Android (Samsung A8) and at first both buttons just took photos. Then I changed my phones camera settings so that the volume key records video, and holding the camera button takes burst shots. Now the top/iOS button starts and stops recording videos for me, and the bottom/Android button takes photos and burst shots.

Have a Galaxy S8 Plus and had the same issue with not being able to START video recording. I turned on voice activation and thought it was the same. However, by accident, I discovered that pushing the iOS button will start and stop video recording. The Android button (which I'd think would be the only one to use with an Android phone) takes photos. So, for Android users, try using the upper (iOS) button for video and the bottom button for photos. Who knew?

So far so good, I haven't used it yet but will in the very near future. I tested both the picture and video function and both work. I did see a review from Lou that said he couldn't start a video recording with an S7 and that's what I have, I looked in the camera setting and tried a few things and I was getting a picture from both buttons. After enabling the voice control for video the camera button (large button) works just great for video. Please tell Lou to see if he can do the same with his S7, it sounds I little weird to make the change I made but if it works go with it right? Thanks for the great product and I will be back later to update!

I like the remote, however with my S7 I did find I limitation, which is why I did not give it 5 stars. Although, the limitation is more due to the S7 than the remote. Although works great in camera mode, I could not find a way to activate the video mode with the remote with the phone. I could only STOP the video with the remote.

Buy it, it works great! Make sure you register your product for the warranty! Worth it because when I had a bluetooth connection problem, they honored the warranty! Prompt and excellent customer service!!!

Bought via Amazon. Worked for 2 months now will not pair even with new battery. The blue light come on but does not flash for pairing.

I would give it 5 stars I have had other solo sticks buying ones that were less in price. This is worth the money and the Bluetooth works awesome. I bought the remote even though I got the stick with Bluetooth just as a backup in case I don't charge the stick. I would recommend these stick to everyone

It arrived in good shape except for the postal employee crumbling it in my mailbox. It is a very good product. My problem is that I found I don't like selfies of myself! My son knew how to use it right off and I had to figure out how to make it extend.

I ordered the Solo stick premium blue and the remote shutter. For some reason, the packaging had ripped open in the mail and I only got the remote. The stick fell in transit. I contacted the company and within a couple of days, I got my replacement stick. Thanks, Evan from customer service
