What if you approach these photo locations from a different angle?
Experiment with alternative perspectives, whether it means crouching down low or finding a higher vantage point.
Also, when everyone else is focused in a particular direction, take a moment to turn around and observe what is happening behind you. Perhaps the setting sun is casting a mesmerizing shadow on a building, presenting a unique opportunity for an extraordinary shot. Maybe a nearby fence is offering a compelling horizontal line composition.
